Staff lunch rooms
Staff rooms are really depressing places. It’s just a few people on their break, staring at the clock, dreading the monotonous job they have to slave back to in a few minutes. No one seems to talk much for fear of disturbing others’ and their own short while of peace. They just sit there drinking their coffee. Yet people savour their breaks like pieces of lemon cheesecake. Weird.
